The extraordinary structure is located a few minutes from the historic center, between the banks of the Tiber river, the hill of the Parioli district and the Olympic Village. The Auditorium is a sophisticated musical architecture, a large multipurpose complex, a home of all music and all arts capable of satisfying the needs of different audiences, combining quality and entertainment, culture and entertainment.
The three main rooms of the Auditorium, Sala Petrassi (673 seats), Sala Sinopoli (1,133 seats) and Sala Santa Cecilia (2,744 seats), are real “soundboxes”: three enormous lutes suspended on a hanging park of over 38,000 square meters. The focus of the project is the large Cavea named after Maestro Luciano Berio. Located in the center of the three rooms, the Cavea of the Auditorium is an authentic square with the dual function of an open-air theater and a real meeting place. The Parco della Musica Auditorium, managed by the Musica per Roma Foundation and home to the prestigious National Academy of Santa Cecilia, is a living and breathing cultural centre. A place to live.
